Freshman Year

Eye Hatesims first day at university. He is the first one at the dorm so he gets first pick of the rooms. He picked the one closest to the kitchen and front door.
He picks his major to match his plat aspiration want to be a "mad scientist." Lucky for him he matches that with his inner need to reach the top of the Natural Science job. After that he quickly begins his skill building. He has zero skills so needs to learn all three required skills.

He sold the desk, computer, chair, and bed that was in his room. Purchased a flower workbench and went to work. He is very obsessed with learning all that is needed to arrange flowers.
He is so obsessed with the flower workbench that he forgets to study for his classes. When its time for the final he is to exhausted to go. No need to go since no matter what grade he made he wouldn't pass the semester. Possible aspiration failure in store for this knowledge sim. :-)
He awakes from his nap with some internal knowledge of his academic probation.
His sudden awareness throws him into a "little sobbing girl". He's in his "locked room" so no one sees his emotional breakdown.
He wised up and made sure his studies were complete before he returned to the flower bench. He is only interested in passing the classes. No goal to be an over achiever. (It was fun to push the limits with the Academic Probation. It was a new experience for me since most challenges require 4.0 gpa. I skipped that option with this challenge. I plan to work for the BSoC point instead. I thought both would be a little much.) As you can see above, his skill levels are low. He earned the cleaning skill by cleaning the stove in the cafeteria. He is a neat sim and cleans on his own. He must have sneaked off and done some other cleaning.
I seemed to be stuck in a circle of workbench, sleep for comfort, social, eat, then back to workbench. The workbench is progressing slowly. Time for a new strategy. I look at his relationship panel and pick a sim who he has developed the best relationship with. Lucky for me, she just returned from class. They date his way to platinum. (This doesn't help my need for aspiration failure - knowledge sim - but I have 10 total generations to work on that one.)ENERGIZE ME!!! Now he is good to work some long hours at the flower bench.

While working at the workbench his comfort and social were drained at about the same rate. Next was energy. To help with energy and comfort, I purchased the best recliner that I could. It had an 8 on comfort. I don't recall the energy level. That helped those two issues out. As to social, I tried to have him talk to different sims each time. The reason for that was to get contacts as well as set the foundation to get BigSimOnCampus (BSoC). Time will tell if that plays out to be a good strategy or not.

After the energizer, he heads back to make flowers.

Meanwhile, the cafeteria worker starts a kitchen fire.
The kitchen staff and a few students run around under the sprinkler. I'm not sure if they were playing in it or upset about it. They seemed upset, but kept running in and out of it. The sim in the purple dress is shocked by their behavior or the fire. Eye keeps working at the bench. He is more obsessed with the flower bench than what I was aware of. He never left to go look at the fire.
